NVOX Foundation did not begin as a theoretical idea. It began at the intersection of personal experience, entrepreneurial understanding, clinical reality, and one question that would not go away: How many lives change simply because real ADHD was not recognized in time?

Behind the Foundation is a personal story of late diagnosis, understanding that developed over years, and a decision to turn pain, frustration, and missed opportunity into a broader public mission. NVOX Foundation was built around lived experience, scientific seriousness, responsible technology, clear clinical boundaries, and a commitment to changing the way the world understands ADHD.

## The Story Behind the Foundation

For Shlomi David Grandes, ADHD was not a professional theory. It was personal. Diagnosed later in life with ADHD and dyslexia, Grandes began to understand that a diagnosis is not only a name for something that was already there — it can become a new framework for understanding an entire life.

## The Turning Point — The diagnosis gave him the label. The conversation gave him the context.

A turning point came during a conversation with a psychologist who worked in a maximum security prison in California. She told Grandes that at least half of the inmates she worked with appeared to be living with undiagnosed ADHD. At 30, he received the label. Thirteen years later, he received the context. ADHD is not only about attention — it can affect regulation, impulses, learning, emotions, decisions, persistence, risk, self image, relationships, work, and school.

## From Personal Understanding to Clinical Infrastructure

Grandes began asking what a better ADHD assessment should actually look like. Not another standalone questionnaire. Not another short clinical conversation trying to compress an entire life into one hour. A clear thesis took shape: high quality ADHD assessment must be multimodal — developmental history, daily functioning, information from multiple sources, attention tasks, behavioral measures, documentation, clinical context, data quality, and differential diagnosis.

Dr. Jonathan Leemor, a childhood friend of Grandes and a physician with medical, neuroscience, and psychiatry related background, joined that process. Gil Cohen, a mathematician, algorithm specialist, and veteran computer engineer with deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and systems architecture, joined to turn the clinical thesis into real technological architecture.

The first line of code was written in June 2023. During 2024 and 2025, the platform began operating in a real clinical environment. By December 2025, NVOX's first internal data window included 1,014 completed assessments. These figures are not presented as full external validation. They mark the transition from an idea to an active clinical platform.

Out of all of this, the Foundation was created — not to replace the platform, but to carry the mission further: to make high quality assessment more accessible, to strengthen serious research, to build more accurate public language.

## Why NVOX Foundation Exists — Not only to build technology. To build a new pathway.

NVOX Inc. was built to create a clinical and technology platform that enables structured, remote, more accessible ADHD assessment under clinical supervision. NVOX Foundation was created to bring that mission into the public world: expand access, support research, educate families and schools, build community, and create a new language around ADHD. The company operates the platform. The Foundation expands access, research, culture, and public impact.
